India is a capital of strange, weird & crazy things. India is the only country which has all the seasons, India is the only country which has all the religions & India is the only country which has a number of miracles!

Below is a list of some strange, crazy & unusual places of India.

1. The Great wall of India:

Kumbhalgarh fort which is located in Mewar, Rajasthan has 38 km long wall. It is a birthplace of Maharana Pratap. This is the second longest wall in the world, after the Great wall of China.

2. The Great Banyan tree: 

This tree is located in Indian botanical garden, Kolkata. it is 250 years old tree which survived two deadly cyclones. It’s widest tree in the world. It covers approx. 3.5 square acres of land. Isn’t it too wide? The crazy thing about this tree is, it doesn’t have Trunk.

3. Lonar Lake:

The lake which was created after a meteor from space fell on earth. Lonar lake is located in Buldhana district of Maharashtra. It is the only known hypervelocity impact anywhere on earth.

4. Hanging pillar of Lepakshi:

Known as Engineering wonder, Lepakshi temple has a hanging pillar. Among with 70 pillars, this one pillar hangs from the ceiling. The gap between land & pillar is very thin that a small piece of cloth can pass by.

5. The village of twins:

There is a village called Rohini village in Kerala which has highest rates of twins born babies.

6. Alibaug Chowpatty:

You must have heard about Orissa & other beaches where water vanishes in a daytime, but no need to travel that far to experience that thing. Our favourite Alibag Chowpatty does the same thing. Witness the beach around 11 am and observe the water flowing away from the beach for approx. 2-3 km. One can walk till the fort which is situated on the water. Strange isn’t it? Just make sure that you return before 4 pm, otherwise you will get to experience Arabian sea in more details.

7. Bhangarh Fort:

Meet India’s most haunted place. This fort is located in Rajasthan. Even Archaeological Survey of India has placed a board warning ‘Do not enter the fort before sunrise & after the sunset’!

8. Karni Mata mandir:

Bikaner’s Karni Mata temple is famous for mice. The temple is famous for the approximately 20,000 black rates that live, and are revered in, the temple. These holy rats are called kababs, and many people travel great distances to pay their respects. The temple draws visitors from across the country for blessings, as well as curious tourists from around the world.

9. Sachin Tendulkar temple:

If cricket is a religion then Sachin is a GOD! Take achieved from Sachin at Patna’s Sachin Tendulkar’s temple. Really.. No limitations on god..!

10. Shani shinganapur:

Everyone loves privacy, but what if I tell you there is a village in Maharashtra which has no doors? Shani Shinganapur is a village which has no doors to their house. Want to stay?

11. Wettest Place in the World:

Meghalaya’s Mawsynram village is the wettest place in the world with almost every day of rainfall.
